You must exercise caution when consuming kiwi juice on a daily basis. If you drink more than 1-2 glasses of juice diluted with water, you risk developing kiwi allergies.
- 1.5 kg of fresh peeled kiwi
- 500 g sugar
- 1.5 liters of water
Method of preparation:
Peel a kiwifruit, grate it, and combine it. After that, squeeze it through a sieve to get the most juice out of it. Put the water on the stove to boil, then turn it off and let it cool.
To the strained kiwi juice, add the cooked and cooled water, as well as 500 g of sugar. Stir for for 20 minutes, or until all of the sugar has melted (you can also put it in water while it is hot, it will melt faster and you will not have to mix the juice so much later).
Refrigerate the juice, which should be kept in sanitized glass bottles. Before using, dilute with water.
Note: While it’s always better to eat fresh fruit and freshly squeezed kiwi juice, this method preserves the juice for easier and faster consumption. Because it is not thermally processed, all of the nutrients are maintained.
Vitamin A, B-complex, vitamin C, E, K, selenium, calcium, potassium, phosphorus, carotenoids, iron, chlorophyll, lutein, carbs, and flavonoids are all found in kiwi juice or syrup, making it a good choice for young children and the anemic.
