Baked Apples Stuffed With Walnuts And Honey

Ingredients needed:

  • 4 apples
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 4 tablespoons butter, softened at room temperature
  • 5 tablespoons fruit muesli
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • some raisins
  • vanilla ice cream (optional)

Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius. Wash the apples, cut off the tops and carve out the middle of the seeds. Be careful not to leave the apples whole.

Then spray the apples with lemon juice. In a bowl, mix the butter, muesli, honey and nuts. Fill the apples to the brim.

Heat them in a baking tray, put them in a preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes until soft.

When they are baked, take them out of the oven and leave them to cool a bit. Baked apples can be served with vanilla ice cream or chocolate sauce.
