Integral bread

Its main benefit is that it is high in vegetable fibre. “If you’re grain intolerant, wholemeal bread is the second best option,” the dietitian explains. Whole grain bread includes far more fibre than white bread, as well as nutrients such as magnesium, zinc, and potassium.

It is available in practically any supermarket and on the health food shelves. It is high in grains, fibre, vitamins, and healthy fats.
