Scientific research has shown that this alkaline fruit has a wide range of health advantages.
Mango eating on a daily basis lowers blood sugar levels, even though mangos naturally contain sugar, according to research from the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB).
In one experiment, some of the obese animals were given 10 grams of freeze-dried mango everyday for three months. Researchers then measured the animals’ blood sugar levels and discovered that those who had received the mango had seen a substantial drop.

The study’s author, Dr. Edralin Lucas, Ph.D., explains:
Although further research is necessary to determine the exact method by which mangoes exert their benefits, we do know that they contain a complex variety of polyphenolic chemicals.
These results were supported by a second study done at Oklahoma State University, where researchers found that eating mangoes improves glucose tolerance and lowers insulin resistance.
Another Australian study also revealed that consuming this amazing fruit reduces inflammation brought on by excessive cholesterol levels and prevents the development of diseases connected to metabolic syndrome.
A doctor from University of Queensland commented:
“We don’t yet know how everything will work out, but we do know that some of the particular components (of mango) activate and even inhibit certain receptors. That might have favorable dietary effects on diabetes and high cholesterol”
