Cherry juice can be a refreshing drink, especially on hot summer days. Today we’re providing a recipe that’s healthful and free of preservatives, easy to make, and can be used as an ingredient in new cocktails.
Ingredients needed:
- 3 kilograms of cherries
- 1.5 liters of water
- 40 grams of lemon juice

Sprinkle the washed cherries with lemon juice and add water. Mash them well with your hands and clean them from the bones.
Allow the cherries to soak in the water for 24 hours before straining the juice. If you don’t have a strainer, you can use cheesecloth instead.
Add the same amount of sugar to the amount of juice collected. With a wooden spoon, stir the sugar until it is fully dissolved. If the amount is larger, it is combined numerous times throughout the day. Transfer the mixture to glass bottles once the sugar has dissolved.
