How to Grow A Pineapple From Another One – Easily!

Step 1

Locate a nice, ripe pineapple fruit. Choose a fruit with a thick, hard exterior and no soft patches. To ensure that you receive organic fruits from your own garden, make sure your fruit is organic.

Step 2

Fruit should be rinsed before being placed on a chopping board.

Step 3

Remove the sweet flesh and a small portion of the crown. Give the cronw several days in the sun to dry. Leave the interior leaves and remove the stiff outer leaves. Put it in a glass container with 1 centimeter of clean water in it, making sure the water doesn’t contact the leaves of your crown.

Step 4

For at least 14 days, keep the glass container in a location with adequate sunlight, such as near to a window or in a garden. Every other day, the water is changed.

Step 5

You should see some roots after two weeks, at which point the crown is prepared for planting. Have some potting dirt ready for your planter.

Avoid overwatering; keeping the soil moist is sufficient. A minimum of 6 hours of sun should be provided for your plant each day. For the rest of the day, keep it inside your house or in a shaded area.

In the planter, grow your plant for a whole year. When the plant outgrows the pot, move it to a larger one or plant it in your garden.

The first pineapple fruit should be ready in a year or less.
