  • ¼ cup maple syrup

Directions:

Set the oven’s temperature to 425. The potatoes should be peeled, thinly sliced, and crosswise sliced about three-quarters of the way through, but not all the way through to the bottom.

Both potatoes should be placed on a baking sheet. Brush them with olive oil and season with salt and pepper to taste. They should be baked for about 30 minutes, or until they are tender.

Then remove them from the oven and raise the heat to 450 degrees.
