We have always been taught that in order to be able to see well, our diet requires carrots. But there are other foods that improve eye health.
Many of the foods on this list help protect general health and prevent vision loss, dry eyes and night vision problems.
Here’s the thing:
Green leafy vegetables
These include spinach, swallows, tartar, kale, which are rich in lutein and zeaxanthin, which protect the eyes from possible damage.
Sweet potato
The intense orange color indicates that it contains beta-carotene, which is also present in carrots. Enhance your diet with this great healthy food.
Fatty fish
Sardines, salmon and tuna are rich in omega-3 fatty acids that are healthy for the entire body, including the eyes. They prevent macular degeneration and dry eye syndrome.
Broccoli
Broccoli affects the cardiovascular system positively and provides nutrients comparable to leafy vegetables.
Legumes
All foods, from beans to beans to lentils, help us to ingest the necessary amounts of zinc and vitamin A to protect the tissue of the eye.
