Original Diet Cabbage Soup
Ingredients:
- 1 large head of cabbage, small chunks
- 2 (8 ounces) cans green beans
- 2 green peppers, sliced bite size
- 6 large green onions, chopped bite size
- 1 (1 ounce) envelope Lipton Onion Soup Mix
- 1 bunch celery, sliced bite size
- 3 lbs carrots, sliced bite size
- 1 (16 ounces) can of diced tomatoes
- salt and pepper
- Optional: beef bouillon, tabasco sauce, curry powder, chopped parsley, cayenne pepper,
Preparation:
The preparation of this remarkable soup is simple, just put all the vegetables in a pot, add the spices, cover with water and bring to a fast boil for ten minutes and then reduce to a simmer. The vegetables should be cooked until they become tender.
Organic Diet Cabbage Soup
Ingredients:
- 1 large head cabbage, shredded
- 1 large onion, diced
- 1 poblano chile, diced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 garlic bulb, sliced
- 1 lb shiitake mushroom, sliced
- fresh and pure water, no chlorine, or mineral-rich bone
- 1 kombu seaweed, rinsed and sliced
- 1 leek, rinsed and sliced
- 2 lbs tomatoes, crushed
- broth
- pepper
- lots of herbs
- salt (optional)
Except for the tomatoes and cabbage, sauté all vegetables in a modest amount of vegetable or coconut oil. Next, combine them in a pot with the tomatoes and cabbage. Bring to a boil, covered with water. Reduce the heat and simmer until the veggies are soft, then add some fresh or dried herbs and continue to cook for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
You can also make this soup in a crock cooker for 6-8 hours.
7 Day Diet Plan:
Day 1: Eat only soup and fruits. Pure water, unsweetened tea, kombucha, or cranberry juice are also options. All fruits are safe to eat, except bananas. Because watermelon and cantaloupe are low in calories, you can consume more of them.
Day 2: Eat solely soup and vegetables, with the veggies eaten alongside the soup. Eat green, leafy vegetables instead of dried beans, peas, and corn. You can treat yourself to a large buttered potato for dinner. Fruits are not permitted.
Day 3: Eat as much soup, veggies, and fruits as you want, but no baked potatoes for dinner. If you stick to the diet for three days, you should lose 5-7 pounds.
Day 4: It’s banana and skim milk day on the fourth! Both bananas and milk are high in calories and carbohydrates, but your body will require potassium, carbohydrates, proteins, and calcium on this particular day to reduce sweet cravings. Along with the soup, eat up to three bananas and drink as many glasses of water as you can.
Day 5: up to 6 organic tomatoes, 10-20 ounces beef, lamb, wheat gluten (seitan), aduki beans, skinless chicken (or fish). Take care to eat high-quality range-fed animal protein that is devoid of antibiotics and hormones. Drink at least 6-8 glasses of water per day to eliminate the uric acid from your system. Consume the soup at least once today.
Day 6: You can have as much meat, lamb, wheat gluten (seitan), aduki beans, poultry (no skin), or fish as you wish in combination with vegetables. You can alternatively serve 2 or 3 steaks with green leafy veggies. There will be no baked potatoes today. Make sure to eat the soup at least once during the day.
Day 7: Consists of unsweetened fruit, veggies, and brown rice. Consumption of fruits and vegetables is not limited, but consume the soup at least once today.
