Replace commercial butter with your own homemade butter, which is high in vitamin A and helpful to your teeth, tissues, membranes, skins, and eyes. Unlike organic butter, purchased butter contains trans fats and pasteurised milk.
Here’s how to make your own, healthy butter:
- 2 cups organic heavy cream
- sea salt

Add the cream to the food processor and pulse for about 10 minutes, or until it forms a thick whipped cream. Continue until the mixture becomes gritty. The buttermilk should then be drained from the butter.
Scrape the butter from the sides and place it in a bowl. Then drain it through a colander to remove the buttermilk.
Rinse the butter with cold water, stirring it gently with a spoon. When it’s clean, smash it with forks or wooden paddles to drain the liquid.
Keep your homemade organic butter refrigerated or frozen in a bowl or container. It could linger for several months.
