We spend more time indoors during the winter, in dry, closed-off spaces, which all contribute to the development of a chronic or persistent cough.
Natural cough cures are a fantastic solution to this issue. For this time period, herbs like marshmallow, thyme, sage, garlic, fennel, ginger, cumin, and others are best, especially when combined with propolis and honey.
Natural remedies offer the advantage of not including artificial sweeteners, preservatives, or additives, which is crucial for diabetics.
Dry cough syrup
Herbal dry cough syrup has been successfully used as a treatment for coughing. When the mucous membrane is irritated, it has a particularly positive effect on it and also slows down a dry cough. With the exception of potential issues if you are allergic to one of the plants, the syrup provides a sort of natural shield and has very few adverse effects. So take care.
