Believe it or not, the liver performs over 500 vital tasks in the body, including infection resistance, hormone and protein production, toxin neutralisation, and so on.
Furthermore, the liver is the only organ in the body that can regenerate itself after an injury. However, when a person does not eat a balanced diet and instead consumes largely processed foods, the liver will eventually suffer.
This reduces its ability to renew, thus detoxification processes must be enhanced with the correct meals. One of these foods is this detox beverage. It’s powerful and high in nutrients that are calming and good for your liver.

Benefits of Ingredients
- Celery seed extracts have been shown to help reduce blood pressure and bad cholesterol while also protecting the liver. Its mild diuretic qualities help to eliminate toxins and other infections from the body.
- Ginger can aid persons with liver damage caused by nonalcoholic fatty liver disease. It may also help to remove fat deposits in the liver, perhaps reversing the illness.
- Red cabbage is believed to increase liver enzyme synthesis, minimise lipid imbalances, and prevent inflammation. All of these factors hasten the process of repairing this organ.
- Lemon juice and its peel include compounds that protect the liver from inflammation and oxidative stress. They also help lower cholesterol levels in the liver and blood.
- Pears are high in pectin, which may be beneficial for gallstone therapy. When the gallbladder contains gallstones, it retains the bile produced by the liver. Furthermore, when the liver is full of stones, there may be little bile, increasing the risk of injury and stress.
- Mint contains vitamin K, which helps to treat cirrhosis or liver scarring, as well as bleeding and bruising caused by swollen veins.
