Stress – every occupied human experiences it. But how do you deal with stress? How do we get rid of it, at least for a limited amount of time?

Try to establish a routine and include in it at least a 30 minute walk in the park in which you can relax.

Below are a few effective suggestions:

  1. Get crafty. Whether you make a toy for your child or a small decoration for your office (you can find plenty of inspiration on the internet), it will surely work.
  2. Try tidying up your room, desk or office or simply reorganize if you think you have the disposition. It gives you a time off, and even though it is short (hopefully!), it is effective.
  3. Drink tea. It is the most available warm, calming beverage, since you can find it in almost any place, from the next corner diner to fancy restaurants. We strongly recommend chamomile or passion fruit tea.
  4. Make sure you exercise. If you do, you are less likely to be stressed because of the endorphins that are constantly produced in your body.
  5. Have a balanced diet. Yes, a diet lacking certain vitamins may make you more prone to stress. And remember that eating should be an enjoyment, not a time to worry, so have lunch with a friend next time.
  6. Learn to deep breathe correctly and relax.  Repeat as many times as you need, until you feel completely relieved.
  7. Try to establish a routine and include in it at least a 30 minute walk in the park in which you can relax.
  8. Enroll in a yoga or mediation class. It will not only lower you stress level, but also boost your general mood.
  9. Procrastinate for a while. Leave the work behind a do something you really enjoy. You will surely be surprised by your effectiveness afterwards!
  10. Be optimistic. Why not bend the situation to the bright side?
